Prince is a 2 year old, male, liver roan German Shorthaired
Pointer. He was picked up as a stray in rural Iowa and taken
to a small City shelter. Since no one came to claim him, OnPoint
Rescue was asked to step in and help.
Prince is a very energetic guy that loves
to play with other dogs and his toys. He is not recommended for a
house with cats. He can jump a four foot fence, so must go to a home
with a six foot or invisible fencing (he is trained to use an invisible
fence system). Prince is crate trained and housebroken. He
also has learned basic commands of sit, down and stay and is working on
his leash training.
Prince is current on his vaccinations,
neutered, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped.

Chuck is a 2 year old, solid liver, male, German Shorthaired
Pointer. He originally came to OnPoint Rescue after he was turned
into a shelter in Kansas. Chuck was then adopted to a family that
after four months decided they wanted to return him.
Chuck is back on the hunt for a forever
home that will accept him for who he is. This is what Chucks
previous adopted family stated about him the day he was returned:
He loves to be outdoors and bury his bones in the yard. He would
be a good guard dog as he enjoys laying outside and survey his domain,
he will also bark at anyone walking by. Chuck is scared of loud
noises and will hide under items. He is very affectionate and
loves to be close to you, he will lay on the couch with his head in your
lap. Chuck loves to carry items in his mouth all the time (shoes,
water bowl, toys, anything). He is wary of strangers and will
submissively pee when scared. He gets along with other dogs and
enjoyed playing with their teenaged children. Chuck is crate
trained and housebroken.

Dexter is a 7 year old, black and white, male German Shorthaired
Pointer.
He is looking for a home where someone is around most of the time
for company and love. He is great with other dogs and is fine
around children. Dexter is crate trained and housebroken.
Dexter is current on his vaccinations,
neutered, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped.
